A day after heavy snow fell and fierce winds blew all over Colorado Springs and most of the Pikes Peak region, residents can expect sunny, cool dry weather for the rest of the week. But that doesn't mean the effects of Tuesday's snowfall are completely gone. 7:15 a.m. UPDATE Colorado Springs officials said in a news release early Wednesday that crews are still focusing on widening main arterials and clearing secondary routes in the northern part of the city, where high winds Tuesday night caused more drifting snow.
