A male reported to be holding a rifle was shot by police Tuesday, Colorado Springs police said. The male's condition is not known, said Sgt. Mark DeVorss. No officers were injured in the shooting, which happened while police were responding to a call. The officer-involved shooting took place near the 5100 block of Lanagan Street, near Flying W Ranch Road in northwest Colorado Springs, DeVorss said.
