Human remains found near vehicle in Pike National Forest

CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. (AP) — Teller County authorities are trying to identify human remains found near an abandoned vehicle in Pike National Forest. The (Colorado Springs) Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1MFrd2T ) that the remains were discovered Wednesday. Sheriff's deputies found the remains when they investigated a call about an abandoned vehicle in a remote area of the forest. The sheriff's office has not identified the remains or said where the remains were found.
