A Colorado Springs company is accused of violating federal law by not paying a former employee overtime, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court. El Paso County resident Marlene Haptonstall worked "many hours over forty in a single week" without receiving overtime pay from Aleut Management Services, the complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Denver said. Haptonstall's managers knew she was working the extra time but failed to pay her overtime "as a cost saving measure," the complaint said. The company provides operations, maintenance, information technology and engineering services to federal agencies, according to its website. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette...
