A few bands of light snow could drift over northern Colorado Springs this evening as part of a fast-moving storm that's pummeling the high country and the northern reaches of the state. Forecasters with the National Weather Service in a Pueblo say places including Black Forest, Palmer Lake and Monument could get an inch or more of snow from a storm expected to blow past the Pikes Peak region by midnight. Its northern track is expected to spare areas to the south. "The best chance is it will stay north of the city," said Weather Service forecaster Kathy Torgerson.
